Antikva ehf

The Fjordur research is carried out by archaeologist Ragnheiður Traustadóttir and her team at Antikva Ltd. Antikva has undertaken numerous commercial projects. From placing heritage information boards along popular walking routes, to archaeological prospection in southwestern Iceland and excavations ranging from Viking-Age settlements in Gardabaer municipality to modern ports in Reykjavik. Before founding Antikva, Ragnheiður worked as an archaeologist at the National Museum of Iceland and the Hólar University.
